MA NRES Candidate Yanik Rozon presented at the International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC7) in Cape Town, South Africa. This year’s IMCC7 conference brought together marine conservation scientists and practitioners from 72 different countries to discuss how best to protect our oceans. Yanik’s presentation titled “Indigenous-Led Marine Conservation and Restoration in the Islands of Fiji” explored the impacts of cumulative pressures on coral reefs and how adaptation responses through implementing Marine Protected Areas can have differential impacts on community members.
